Art and Music Laura Farre Rozada

In part 1 of Art and Music Journey in The Mind, it states: “Since there is a time for learning, exercise, and work; there is also certainly a time for (art and music) play.” Well, along with part 2 (Laura Farre Rozada) on this subject, there is an experience that I describe as superb! You can believe there are others who feel the same way.

First, let’s talk more about the next music section of this article.
Art and Music Journey in the Mind Part 2

There are more musical instruments than most people can readily name — can we say music college majors? How many of us know in depth these categories of instruments?

Keyboard
Guitar
Percussion
Brass
Bowed strings
Woodwind

If you are like me, the first three in the list subconsciously come to mind, while the others require more thought. Depending on which maestro you are talking with and their interesting background culture, they will break the above 6 categories down on such a granular level that can leave your mind wondering for a bit.

Do you have a favorite instrument? Do you know how to play it? If you have a social media account, feel free to share this article with the instrument you play. Hey, some of you can share it on Instagram with your recital or band photos.

Did you know this about the pocbooks.com commentaries?

The musicians highlighted here show skills in voice, instruments, and production. Their style is who they are and yet; like with most humans, own diverse qualities to varying degrees that encompass colors of warmth and connection.

Poetry – Instruments of the Soul
There are times when a guitar just will not do.
Those moments may be many or be few.
The flute may get the attention.
After a while, there is something else that could be mentioned.
The piano may be suggested to be so bold.
However, it is the harp’s ability to soothe the soul.

What a superb performance! Have you ever said that after a show? Please allow me to share with you a performance myself and about fifty to eighty (the comfortable seating venue) others were able to enjoy!

The award-winning pianist and mathematician

Laura Farré Rozada

She completed her Master of Music degree as the Royal College of Music in London.

The audience that night was cordially — lively and quite a few of them specialized in fields of technical, medical and music. One composer I had an opportunity to chat with after the performance stated Laura is of high quality and a “virtuoso.”

In my brief meeting with her, I found her personality to be in the same expressions of her moving pianist skills displayed that evening. What do I mean? Allow me to explain from some of my notes I jotted down. Though I had planned on just taking it all in for an evening of food, wine, good conversation, and music; when Laura Farré Rozada started playing, I could not help but pick up my pocket sized square journal to take notes.
Laura Farré Rozada First Album

The French Reverie is Laura’s first solo album
From Spain, France, Germany, Canada, Bulgaria, and UK; her performances have been well received. Remember the virtuoso comment mentioned.

These sentiments are elaborated on here…

Musicology and Symmetry merges with Laura Farré Rozada

The pianist Laura merges sounds, beats, and music; I am not just talking as a figure of speech either. There were times when she tapped on the piano like they were bongo drums. If you think I’m kidding, I’m not. I heard from three persons who get to enjoy the arts on this level every month of the year say, in so many words, she was a new experience for them.

What a classical experience!

Every keystroke pulsated through her face and cheeks. Laura’s fingers moves at the speed of twilight. Her lips curl to give the instruments voice.
As her hair joins the chorus, the flocks starts flowing to the unseen melody of the air! – Product of Culture

The above describes the opening of her performance’s first song.
Fractuals are Real in Her Music

A Professor in computer science while in conversation with me during intermission, stated: I started seeing fractals (Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales) in her music. Yet there is still quite something I’m still missing or looking for here.

My response with a lighthearted smile: “It is on a metaphysical and 5th dimension level.”

You could see the eureka light bulb come on in his head. “Yes, that is what I was looking for.”

Note in Details: I used the term metaphysical because I ascertained he would have more of a comprehensive view of what I was stating; rather than just saying my favorite word, “Spiritual.” The term 5th dimension also was referenced because from his expert analysis or opinion for some of his deeply contemplated expressions, you could discern he was in Quantum physics’ mode. To observe him during the performance before the intermission truly showed me the power and enlightening effect Laura’s music had on the audience.
More Listening Observations of this Pianist

Laura Farre Rozada allows every note, every vibration of molecules play out in parts of her composition.

See and hear her perform the music composition Sacrifice

There were moments when the anguish of this piece was on her face. The audience’s reaction had persons bowing their heads up and down not just in the rhythm; but yes, yes, I understand what your are saying. I feel what you are saying. One distinguish gentleman at certain pitches was placing his hands together… He closed his eyes… Was there dew drops of moisture on his eyelids?

Turning around to look at the audience, they were remembering family and events in their lives that meant a lot to them.
The Meaning We Realize

At moments, Laura would allow the last stroke of the keys fade away as she looks softly at them; it is though she is making love with music. Such a gift along with her excellent timing and precision, Laura Farre Rozada is a masterful pianist gem.
