Keep in mind that the reason people may not pick up on mix signals or even subtle signals is because their attention is just not attuned or focused in that way on certain personalities or environments. Sometimes a person may forget that individuals who deals (or have dealt) with a lot of people also have to function optimally in other areas and relationships as well.
