When Jesus said that those who acknowledge Him, He will acknowledge; and that those who do the will of God are not workers of lawlessness, He drew a line that is both sobering and hopeful.
Life, Love, Growth & Wisdom in Christ
Life, love, growth, and wisdom are all tied to this truth. Real wisdom is not in appearances or programs, but in living from the heart — in love, in sincerity, in alignment with God’s will.
There is something to be said about not gaslighting a person on what goodness truly is. Goodness does not need to be reprogrammed, overlaid with esoteric meanings, or turned into a performance. When people try to force layers on top of it, many no longer even know how to show goodness naturally, from the heart.
I’ve written letters, plays, and journals throughout my life, even when no one would understand what I was writing. I learned early that as long as I wasn’t forcing people to believe as I do, hopefully they wouldn’t force their inquisitive nature on me.
But hindsight has revealed something painful: people often damage their own minds by being “nosier than the Jones.” That kind of mindset isn’t just invasive — it’s harmful to the very person holding it. It clouds understanding and turns curiosity into judgment.
And that’s a hurtful state for someone who wants to help people. Because true help doesn’t come from prying, nor from forcing. It comes from humility, respect, and love.
So, would they be helpful? Not if their curiosity is fueled by intrusion instead of love. Help flows from the Spirit, not from control.
