Dear Perceptive Reader,
In this post, I share a reflection on how our rights, joy, and conscience are sometimes challenged by those who claim moral authority. My hope is to offer insight into the subtle ways control can manifest — and how divine perspective helps us navigate it with clarity and courage.

They may have changed the narrative and the parameters, but they’re still doing the same thing — nullifying me of my spiritual and constitutional rights to enjoy what I want to enjoy, and to speak what I want to speak.
Nothing I write about calls for people to steal, kill, or overthrow institutions. I speak about many of the same social issues those think tanks discuss every day. Yet some of these people continue to take the so‑called moral high ground (Matthew chapter 7) over me — and that’s preposterous. They forget themselves.
God and Jesus could still speak to us individually and point out that not everything we enjoy is in alignment with God’s holiness. Yet, like a parent, Jehovah and Jesus sometimes laugh at it — the same way during wedding events people were sometimes more intoxicated than what they should have been.
It’s like that in much of our entertainment today. So when people try to physically force you or I through their MK‑style shocking therapy methods — hiding behind intellectual speech and polite smiles — they reveal their real motive: killing joy and enforcing control.
