The Mirror’s Reflection

If the mirror could speak, what would it tell me?
Would it express how I came to be?
Does it know more than just the line and cracks in my face?
What type of ointments and salve would
it apply from its drawer case?
I ask the mirror is everything you showing me true?
Why would you ever doubt me the mirror replies?
Don’t you know I am always honest and truthful
with you through and through?
