Trial and error in learning happens a lot does it not? The more important the results, the more I would recommend backups to restore the situation in case of problems. Granted, we do not always have this option. Then this can give the feeling of shooting in the dark.
At least take notes of what you know so far on whatever the project is and pray for it to work out. – Kind regards, James Lynch
