In the years after that, the geeks and developers went in what I call a hyper technical mode to give WordPress way more capabilities. It seems they did not want to allow the elementor page builder developers to have all the fun. In my experience with elementor; I appreciated very quickly all the bells and whistles the page builder offered. However; after several months of using it; I still eventually came back to the strong, barebones beauty of the original packages of the WordPress theme.
If you are a content creator and writer; how many years have you been posting on the WordPress platform? Is there a theme you just feel you couldn’t do without even though the new technology along with security gave you no choice?
What if the developers could make the same dashboard and front end theme for you with security updates resolved from those day? Bring the easy to use custom settings back that they now hide with newer themes; if they have them at all.
Sometimes; the options we lose were the best options for us. It is my hope that when your opportunities are ripe; you are able to eat from the fruits of your labors.
Technology is moving so fast; I’ve seen created software (and people) phased out even before it could get on the ground running.
Will everyone have to be a geek or elite to be in up middle class and higher anymore? I’m talking financially here as well.
Over those years, the themes were not obsolete; it was just the agenda’s view of some to make it them that way.
