Professionalism
Anytime YOU walk into a store and acquire the vendor services; we expect professionalism, do we not?
What does the professionalism entail? It entails respect, consideration, along with a proficiency and efficiency in providing what is required. Oftentimes today, people just have questions and this is why customer services are set up as far as a help desk here or an email there, which is always very much encouraged if you want to run a profit or even a non-profit organization. Why is this so important? So that the people will be able to have their questions answered.
If the questions are not answered or are ignored, then how will the customer feel? How would you feel about the matter? Therefore we have professionalism as a mission statement. Have you ever heard somebody say this? “Let’s just be professional about it.” The same way as you heard this author state on podcasts, “Can we be objective about it?” By combining these two line of reasoning together in your profession, then you will certainly be able to produce the answers that you need for a response, or at the very least, a clear YES or NO. Then we move on to maybe another vendor or another professional that can help you with what is required. This is how important professionalism is in my view.

So, as we expect positive treatment from others, let’s make sure we are giving the best service as well from our emails, to our questions; and in all matters from a lesser to a fuller degree.
