He had been away for a long time.
Sleeping around barns and trees
is where he would call home.
No one would take him in
and he felt all alone.
His meals came from a dumpster for the day.
He howled and whimpered
feeling the full effects of being a stray.
Then little Suzie called Fido’s name.
The little dog ran and jumped in her arms.
Suzie gave Fido his favorite toy bone.
